Weekly Wrap-Up | Tallahassee Wedding Planner

December 16

Happy Friday! Today I’m spending the day with my two favorite 10 year-olds! If I know them like I think I do, I’ll be spending the day crafting, visiting Maclay Gardens and sitting in giant cozy bean bags playing Mario Kart while listening to Selena Gomez and the latest gossip from the fifth grade classrooms. I honestly can’t wait! I worked as a nanny for the girls while I was in college here in Tallahassee and have kept in touch with their family during the years. The girls were four when I met them and 10 and a half now (yes, I feel old!). They’ve grown up to be such fabulous, respectable, polite girls and I just love being around them. And today is a half-day at school, so we get to spend the day together!

And after their parents come home and I head home, it’s out of jeans and into a dress for the two Christmas parties DC and I have tonight!

Needless to say, I’m very excited for today! And in case you were curious, errand-day went so well yesterday! It wrapped up with a super fun double-date with our friends Reed and Amy, involving giant margaritas. I’d say it’s been a pretty good week!

What we’ve been up to…
{Monday} My favorite picks for newlyweds’ first Christmas cards
{Tuesday} Party Dresses – A pretty collection for holiday soirees
{Wednesday} Inspiration – Holiday gift wrap
{Thursday} Tackling my to-do list, and hoping I don’t become a victim of Hobby Lobby (which always happens!)

Favorites from around the Web…
A super quick project by Valley & Co. to make any gift (even last-minute ones!) look fancy!
